2015 NAD Leadership Training Conference
September 24-26, 2015   |   Organized by: National Association of the Deaf (NAD)
September 24-26, 2015 ~ Sheraton Birmingham
Birmingham, Alabama
Join us on September 24-26, 2015 in Birmingham, Alabama. The Conference will foster the enhanced development of leadership within state associations, organizations, and corporations. As the nation’s premier civil rights organization of, by and for deaf and hard of hearing individuals in the United States of America, NAD’s mission is to provide guidance and support to the deaf and hard of hearing community to take on society’s challenges and succeed in a more equal and accessible world.
Why come to the NLTC? The initial purpose of NLTC is to give local and national organizations, including state associations, an opportunity to develop leadership skills and training. We then expanded by giving employees from different entities to be part of the conference. Employers can expect their employees to acquire a better understanding of efficiency, effectiveness, and execution of performance duties as well as honing networking skills. State associations and other nonprofits can expect their officers to become familiar and comfortable with board governance, website and social media tools, financial management, reporting mandates, legislative and political advocacy, and membership recruitment. All participants will also benefit from essential diversity training crucial to every entity.
Come and gain the knowledge, expertise, and network to enable full productivity and success within your state associations, organization, and corporations! Don’t miss out on an interactive and fact filled weekend! We look forward to having you participate in this thriving leadership training event in beautiful Birmingham.
