Attendees learn about the legislative and legal requirements for Title II entities and the types of facilities and services covered and not covered under Title III as well as requirement for barrier removal and path of travel.

Using a Contracts Checklist, we will identify key differences between access consulting services and design services that should be considered in writing services contracts. We will discuss Plan Review Tips to improve the quality and speed of access reviews of architectural and site drawings.

Specific requirements for play areas, golf course and other areas of recreation. This program will identify common errors and clever solutions for designing accessible landscapes.
APA is an approved AIA/CES Provider (#G583), ICC Preferred Provider (#1321) and TDLR Provider CE (#1521). APA also provides a designation for those meeting the criteria for our APA-ADA Specialist program(s).
Note - Obtain your annual TDLR - RAS required continuing education credits by attending the entire day.
