Georgia Fruechtenicht
Georgia Fruechtenicht is a Curriculum and Learning Specialist, Trainer, and Navigator Team Leader for Parent to Parent of Georgia, which is a non-profit that supports families impacted by disabilities and special healthcare needs. In her community, she organizes community events and support groups for families impacted by disabilities. Georgia is passionate about supporting families. She is dedicated to educating, motivating, and empowering parents to build effective partnerships with educators and other service providers. She also provides education and support to professionals to support their inclusion efforts. Georgia is the Project Coordinator for the Parent Detailer Project, which is part of the Autism Plan for Georgia and has the goal of increasing developmental screening and diagnosis by educating healthcare and childcare professionals about the importance of early intervention.
Georgia graduated from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina and the University of Mississippi School of Law in Oxford, Mississippi. She lives in Newnan, Georgia, with her husband, Gary, and their two children, Augie (12) and Virginia (10).
