Montgomery County, MD is a county of nearly 1 million residents and 507 square miles of urban, suburban and rural communities served by Ride-on, a fixed route transit service. Stacy Coletta, the Manager of the Customer Amenities Unit for the County’s Transit Services Division, and Nancy Greene, County’s ADA Coordinator, will discuss how the County implemented a multi-year project to create accessible bus stops throughout the community. Stacy will share the process used, lessons learned and issues resolved throughout this challenging project.
