Description: San Antonio Regional Training-Held in Schertz. Receive up to 8 hrs.of CE.LU as required by TDLR, AIA, ICC, and ACTCP Elective credit. Option of attending classes offered via webinars for TDLR and AIA CE/LU credit (*note these courses were offered at the 2018 Annual Meeting in late January)

8:15 Play for All Abilities Park Site Visit- Presented by Stephen Meyers. This course will examine accessible playgrounds including types of ground level and elevated play components, surfacing materials, accessible routes, and inspection of the site and play equipment. 10:15 Public Right of Way Guidelines- Presented by Melissa Anderson, Principal, Melissa A Anderson, LLC (formerly US Access Board) This course will cover the current status of the proposed Public Right of Way Accessibility Guidelines, the differences between accessible and pedestrian routes, requirements for on-street parking and transit stops. 12:45  Common Errors and Omissions – Best of the Worst Problems We Have Seen- Presented by: Jeromy Murphy. This session will focus on the common errors in construction of accessible features. Participants will review the inspection process, how to report violations and how to communicate necessary corrections to the owner. AIA/CES APA 165/165W, ICC #5245 0.2 CEU

3:00 Significant Changes to the ICC A117.1 (ANSI) 2017- Presented by Jack McClellan on behalf of Gene Boecker. Review some of the major changes in the newest edition of the ICC/ANSI A117.1 Standard and discuss the impact they will have on the built environment.
