Description: This is the final presentation in our 3-part webinar series on recreational facilities. Bill Botten, Accessibility Specialist from the US Access Board, will provide a thirty minute overview of the minimum scoping and technical requirements for newly constructed and altered sports facilities required to comply with the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design and the Architectural Barriers Act. Areas of sport activity, such as fields and courts, as well as exercise equipment, saunas and steam rooms, bowling lanes, and shooting facilities will be addressed, along with auxiliary spaces such as player seating, locker rooms, and press boxes. Please join us for this introduction to accessibility standards for these unique facilities.
