STARS Camp Achieve

Camp Achieve July 27-31

This camp is designed as a recreational sports camp for kids and teens ages 9-16 with physical disabilities.  This camp provides our younger clients with the opportunity to try out different adaptive activities as well as starting to exploring their independence in a safe outdoor setting, away from their parents.  Campers will participate in two days of day camp activities such as water-skiing, biking, wheelchair basketball, and archery. Then campers will pack for a two night overnight camping experience at Hahns Peak Lake where they will participate in Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, fishing, and campfire activities.

This camp includes discounted lodging for families for their stay. Family meals are not included. A full list of what meals will be provided will be in the itinerary.

• Cost: $400.00 per camper (Cost includes most meals, camping equipment, and activities).

• Campers should be independent with their personal care.

• Dates: July 27 – 31 (This is a day camp with a two night camping experience at Hahns Peak Lake on Friday and Saturday night) Campers check in at 12:00 pm on the 27th .The first two days will be day camps with  the last two being overnight camping .They will return by 12:00 on Sunday, July 31st)
