The ADA Legacy Tour - June 20: Monticello, IN
12:30 pm - 4:00 pm EDT, June 20, 2015   |   Organized by: ADA Legacy Tour
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will turn twenty-five on July 26, 2015. And a big anniversary deserves a BIG celebration! That's why we're partnering with individuals and organizations around the country to prepare for 2015. How will YOU celebrate?
The City of Monticello and the Monticello Mayor’s Advisory Council for People with Disabilities will host a half-day ceremony and event for the national ADA Legacy Bus Tour on June 20th, 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. at IU Health White Memorial Hospital.
Come for the national anthem and ceremonial greeting from the Mayor at 12:30 p.m. and stay for a community fair and ice cream social (from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.). Representatives from various disability and social service organizations will be on hand to talk about their services. Music, Door Prizes, and did we mention, ice cream!
Open to the public. For more information about this event, directions to the location, or to request an accommodation, please contact Cathy Gross at (574) 583-4568 or e-mail, ADAcoordinator@monticelloin.gov.
The IU Health White Memorial Hospital is located at 720 South Sixth Street in Monticello.
