U.S. Access Board Public Hearings on the ICT Proposed Rule - Washington, D.C.

The U.S. Access Board will hold a hearing in Washington D.C. on March 11 from 9:30 to 11:30 on its proposed rule updating accessibility requirements for information and communication technology (ICT) technology covered by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Section 255 of the Communication Act. The event will provide an opportunity for members of the public to comment on the Board's proposal which was released on February 18.
Those who wish to testify at either hearing are encouraged to sign-up in advance by contacting Kathy Johnson at johnson@access-board.gov, (202) 272–0041 (voice), or (202) 272–0082 (TTY). Preregistration, however, is not required. For the comfort of all participants, attendees are requested to refrain from using perfume, cologne, and other fragrances.
