Beth Waite-Lafever
AAC Specialist
Beth has a B.S. and M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA certification, the RESNA ATP, and is a Certified LAMP Professional. She has over 30 years of experience working with individuals using augmentative communication, their families, and school staff. Beth started the Augmentative Communication Program at Easter Seals Crossroads in Indianapolis, Indiana in the late 1980's. Later she served as the AAC/AT Coordinator for a 6 school special education co-op. She is on staff at CRG/Children’s Resource Group in Indianapolis. Currently she is a speech-language pathologist and assistive technology coach for MSD of Martinsville, a school district in southern Indiana. Beth has provided hundreds of presentations, trainings and webinars at the state, national and international level. Past presentations have been provided at the Indiana Speech and Hearing Association, PATINS State Technology Conference, Closing the Gap, ISAAC, and ATIA. She has also created and resented online trainings for AbleNet and PRC. Beth is proud to be the co-creator of the Indiana AAC Summit, a statewide conference that brings together front-line providers of AAC from across the state to network and learn from each other.
