Exhibit Design Relating to Low Vision and Blindness: Current Media Technology, Appropriate Application of Technology, Future Research Needs

Introduction

This paper provides an overview of current media technologies which can be employed for providing more accessible experiences for people who are blind or have low vision when they visit exhibits, museums, park, zoos, and other cultural venues; surveys appropriate situational applications of technology in exhibit design; and suggests future research needs in the field.
