Abilitree has been in the Central Oregon community for 30 years and operated as CORIL (Central Oregon Resources for Independent Living) before its rebrand to Abilitree in 2011.
Abilitree provides jobs, training, community service and independent living opportunities for people with disabilities. Individuals with a wide range of abilities come to our work center and receive training for various types of jobs. Abilitree then provides outsourced manufacturing, product assembly and product packaging either in our facility or yours here in Central Oregon.
Abilitree also provides many other great services in Bend to help people grow their independence in all aspects of their life. Our independent living services cover a wide range from helping people advocate for social security benefits, to referring individuals to various other services in our community.
Mission
Abilitree empowers people to grow their independence, expectations and inclusion in community life.
Vision
Abilitree envisions a society where all people with disabilities have the opportunity to develop their full capabilities with independence, productivity and more meaningful involvement in local community events and activities.
Our goal is to be the premier provider in Central Oregon of diverse programs and services to all people with disabilities. We are committed to researching, fostering and implementing those practices that are on the forefront of our field.
We are led by a caring and professional management team that inspires all staff and volunteers to be passionate about supporting our mission. In all that we do, we strive for excellence, innovation and collaboration.
We recognize our staff as one of our most valuable resources and help each individual staff member to become the best they can be.
We are guided by the voices of those we serve. In doing so, we involve all of our stakeholders including staff, volunteers, community partners and most importantly, our clients.
We continually strive to eliminate all barriers, including physical, attitudinal and organizational that stand in the way of full participation by those with disabilities.
