ABILITY Jobs, a division of ABILITY Magazine, has a long history of bringing employers and job seekers with disabilities together. In 1990, ABILITY Magazine developed Job Opportunity Business Services (JOBS). Built as a dedicated 800 number phone system for help wanted ads—employers could post jobs via voice mail and job seekers would then navigate through their area code and career categories for job openings. In 1995, JOBS became JobAccess— the first on-line job board for people with disabilities. JobAccess (now called ABILITY Jobs) aligned with CareerMosaic (the first on-line job board). Through the years job boards changed—CareerMosaic became Headhunter. Headhunter then became CareerBuilder. And today ABILITY Jobs is the largest job board for job seekers with disabilities. ABILITY Jobs maintains ABILITY Resumes and ABILITY Target as additional benefits for its users
