Florida Assisted Living Waiver Program: How To Apply & Eligibility
As with most states, Florida has a very specific definition of what assisted living is , and what basic services are included. Essentially, Assisted Living Facilities in Florida provide “full-time living arrangements in the least restrictive and most home-like setting.” The size of the facility may range from one resident, to hundreds – and can include individual apartments or rooms that may be shared, or single occupancy.
