Bootheel Area Independent Living Services (BAILS) is a community-based, non-profit, non-residential organization. BAILS is committed to serving the needs of persons with all disabilities, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or religion.

Our service area is predominantly rural and includes the Southeast Missouri counties: Dunklin, New Madrid, Pemiscot and Stoddard. BAILS offers individual services to help consumers reach their self-set Independent Living needs and wants.

Each person decides the direction of their own life. BAILS' goal is to foster an open, barrier free society for all people regardless of their disability.

Bootheel Area Independent Living Services(BAILS) believes that individuals should be treated with dignity and compassion. 

We have spent the last decade assisting individuals with disabilities in many ways to insure they are able to live independently utilizing our wide array of services. BAILS is looking forward to working with you and your physician to insure that your in home needs are met and to provide you with a sense of independence.

You are not a client or a patient you are a Consumer. This means we are offering you a service so your satisfaction is the most important thing that we can hope to achieve.
