Description
The 2016 California Building Code (CBC) became effective January 1, 2017. This class will focus on CBC Chapter 11A Housing Accessibility for Covered Multi Family Dwellings. These include Apartments with 3 or more dwelling units and Condominiums with 4 or more dwelling units. We will discuss the difference between Covered Multi Family Dwelling Units, Multi Story Dwelling Units and Multi Family Apartment Units built prior to March 13th 1991 as well as many of the common area similarities between 11B and 11A, the relationship with 11B for Public Housing and an extensive discussion related to Division 4 Dwelling Unit Features within Covered Multi Family Dwelling Units.
