What is the One Step Program?

When a person using a wheelchair or scooter or a person with a physical impediment wants to enter a store, just one step in front of the entrance makes it impossible for him or her to offer patronage to the business. However, the Americans with Disabilities Act, which was passed in 1990 and took effect in January 1992, promises the user a right of safe entry to places of public accommodation.
