Our Mission Statement

Different Brains is a neurodiversity resource site that welcomes everyone– regardless of condition or philosophy. Our goal is to build a community of advocates for people whose brains think a little bit differently, a space for the respectful sharing of ideas and stories, and a resource for anyone seeking knowledge and support so that no one feels like the “Lone Ranger.” We want YOU– the person reading this right now– to join in on spreading advocacy and awareness! Whether you are here because you consider yourself neurodiverse, because you are a professional that works with the uniquely abled, because you are a parent seeking help, because you want to understand a loved one better, or just because you like to learn– join our growing community to make this world a place of acceptance for the differences in our brains.
