Disability Action Center - Chico, Redding, CA

Disability ACTION CENTER (DAC) is a nonprofit organization helping community members with disabilities to achieve and/or maintain their optimal level of self-reliance and independence.

It is the purpose of DAC to assist persons with disabilities to achieve and/or maintain their independence. DAC will provide support services (eg. information, housing assistance, and provider referrals) and to eliminate barriers (physical, emotional, societal, etc.) to increase opportunities for participation in the community. DAC will also work to ensure provision of needed services, identified by persons with disabilities and other community members, while supporting consumers’ rights to live independently.
