Freedom Center is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization created and operated by people with disabilities who serve people with disabilities.

Freedom Center is a resource and advocacy center that works to promote dignity, self-determination, independence and full participation in community life for people of any age that experience a disability. We offer a friendly and welcoming environment where anyone (individuals, family members, friends, or professionals) can obtain information specifically related to a disability.

Our staff can provide information on a broad range of programs and services designed to help understand the various long-term and short-term options available to a person with a disability. They have the ability to connect Delawareans that have disabilities with those benefits, community services and resources that will help them to enhance their quality-of-life, while providing the support each individual needs to attain their desired life-style within their community.

Freedom Center empowers persons with disabilities by providing the programs, services and individual support needed for them to discover and develop their individual talents and abilities. This empowerment enables them to better control their quality-of-life; and interactions with the environment, their families and their communities.
