The Multi-Cultural Independent Living Center of Boston, Inc. (MILCB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community-based, consumer-controlled organization.

MILCB serves people with disabilities and their families in unserved/under-served populations and cultures who reside in Boston’s inner city. We create opportunities for people with disabilities to achieve self-determination at their maximum level of independent functioning within their family and community environment.

We achieve our mission and improve each consumer's quality of life by providing comprehensive services to enhance the range of available options. Our core services are advocacy, information and referral, peer support, skills training and deinstitutionalization.
