The National Aging and Disability Transportation Center is a technical assistance center focused on increasing transportation options for older adults, people with disabilities and caregivers, to enhance their ability to live more independently within their communities throughout the United States.
NADTC provides information and technical assistance in response to specific issues or questions from professionals and organizations with an interest in senior transportation in a number of ways. Typically, NADTC staff will discuss an issue or question by phone with the caller to ensure understanding of the issue and the community’s needs. Following this initial contact, NADTC staff may send an email with pertinent links to resources and contacts. Some issues may entail several conversations or email exchanges in order to fully explore the issue. Ultimately, the inquirer determines whether a quick referral to a resource or a more involved response is needed. Information and technical assistance services are provided free of charge.
