Rebuilding Together Fairfield County is a nonprofit, nonsectarian, volunteer organization that works in partnership with local sponsors and volunteer groups to preserve and revitalize houses and communities in Fairfield County, assuring that low-income homeowners, particularly those who are elderly, with disabilities or who are families with children, live in warmth, safety and independence. Our goal is to make a sustainable impact on their houses as well as on their lives, in partnership with the communities we serve, and to do so without cost to those we are able to help.

Rebuilding Together Fairfield County is a local affiliate of Rebuilding Together, a national organization that includes 166 affiliates serving 500 communities nationwide. Rebuilding Together’s national headquarters was launched in 1988 with a commitment to spread the program to every state.
