Since 1993, Rebuilding Together Richmond (formerly Christmas in April) has been a champion of repairing the homes of low-income homeowners living in some of the most vulnerable communities in Richmond. With our recent merger, we have expanded our reach to serve homeowners in Petersburg, Prince George, Hopewell and surrounding areas.
Our focus is to bring lasting change for homeowners in need – seniors, veterans, persons with disabilities, and families with children. As a proven leader in the community for nearly 25 years, we have the skills and resources to provide critical home repair services and safety modifications to those who need it the most. We serve nearly 100 homeowners each year and impact hundreds more with our community space projects, thanks to the help of our 1,000+ volunteers and skilled laborers.
