Collaboratory for Technology, Health, and Independence (CTHI): University of Michigan
The CTHI Mission
Our mission is to optimize the health and independence of individuals with disabilities across the lifespan through research, development projects, capacity building and knowledge translation activities that work to better match healthcare systems and processes with the strengths, needs and priorities of individuals with disabilities and their families.
Our Services for Researchers and Clinicians
Many clinicians and faculty want to do research but find it difficult given the time required and the expertise needed to manage a research study day to day.
The Collaboratory's model is designed to assist researchers in meeting their research and development goals. Our staff can provide a tailored level of support for the researcher. Our services include project development, assisting with regulatory compliance, outreach and recruitment, data management, and dissemination of results. This support eliminates the burden of needing to hire and train new staff or being forced to go it alone for your research project.
If you are interested in our services, please contact us prior to submitting your grant for funding consideration. This will allow us the ability to work with you to develop a plan that meets your needs to ensure your research project is able to be completed to your specifications.
