TRAC is a center for independent living created by individuals with disabilities for people with disabilities. Over half of our staff is comprised of persons with disabilities providing an array of five core services available in a ten county area in Southeast TN.

Our mission is to provide and enhance opportunities for individuals with disabilties to lead full and independent lives. Independent living means that individuals with disabilities are seeking the same choices and control throughout his/her everyday life that people without disablities have.

TRAC's Independent Living Philosophy promotes self-determination, equal opportunities, systems individual advocacy, peer support and self-help along with self-respect.

Indenpendent living supports an individuals right and opportunity to follow a course decided upon by one's self and to succeed, or fail, in pursuit of one's goals and dreams.
