WSUSA.ORG is a guide to organized sport and recreational opportunities for people with disabilities at both local and international levels. Our mission is to facilitate access to disability sports by providing information on a wide range of sports and sports organizations focusing on people with hearing, visual, physical and intellectual impairment.
Participation in sports and physical activities brings not only health benefits but it also increases self-confidence and defies stereotypes about people with disabilities and disabilities in general. We therefore strongly support organizations and movements that work on increasing the inclusion of children and adults with disabilities into sports and physical activities, and by providing free access to information on a variety of disability sports-related subjects, seek to contribute not only to the disability sports movement but also to promote the right to equality and equal opportunity for all.
