Training Specialist: TransCen / Mid-Atlantic ADA Center

Position Summary: The Training Specialist serves as an integral member of the Mid-Atlantic ADA Center team and reports to the Director. The Training Specialist will manage, design, develop, coordinate, and conduct large or small scale training programs, as well as ensure the smooth and effective functioning of training events as it relates to the Mid-Atlantic ADA grant and needs of TransCen, Inc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with staff and liaise with matter experts regarding instructional design
• Develop, organize, and implement and deliver training programs for varying levels of individuals
• Create interactive, multimedia presentations
• Develop and maintain support materials
• Market available training opportunities and provide necessary information
• Maintain updated curriculum database and training records and develop reports on training activities
• Develop reports for measurement of training needs and results. Assess instructional effectiveness and summarize evaluation reports determining the impact of training
• Other duties as assigned
• Develop, organize, implement, document and evaluate effective training programs to meet identified needs within the Mid-Atlantic region and projects under TransCen, Inc. when necessary
