- Detects calls or message from landline phones and sends signals to the Visit receivers which alerts people in the environment to the event. The Telephone transmitter can also be used together with the Visit Mobile phone sensor (BE9250 or BE9251) to allow notifications also from smartphones and smart tablets. "
- Wireless Coverage: 98 - 260 ft (30 – 80 m), depending on the building’s characteristics and the combination of transmitters and receivers.
- Can be hardwired to an existing doorbell or other devices with a relay current or passive switches. See data sheet for further details.
- When triggered, the Telephone Transmitter sends radio signals to the Visit system receiver(s) which alerts the people in the environment to the event.
- The 3.5mm ext. trig inputs can be connected to, for example, the Contact mat, Magnetic switch, and a hardwired doorbell.
- Alkaline batteries included. Operation time: Alkaline ~ 5 years, Lithium ~ 10 years

This alerting device works by simply attaching the Telephone Transmitter to a landline phone and/or the Visit Mobile phone sensor.
