Description:

A demonstration of the precision, accuracy and repeatability of the Dipstick® Profiler (Dipstick.com) is presented in this video from its manufacturer, Face® Construction Technologies of Norfolk, Virginia USA.

Six different operators took part in the test. Six different Dipsticks were used. Five of the Dipsticks were owned by independent testing labs and were operated by their employees. All of the operators were students at a Face F-Number School and none of them had any prior field experience with the Dipstick. The Dipsticks were manufactured between 2003 and 2011.

None of the Dipsticks had ever been recalibrated.

Each operator measured the same 30-foot line two times -- producing 12 different measurement lines. Despite all those variables, all 12 measurements produced the same result -- demonstrating the unparalleled precision, accuracy and repeatability of the Dipstick Profiler.

The Dipstick is used in 63 countries on six continents to measure concrete floor flatness and levelness. Clients include the world^s biggest company and retailer, the World Bank and the World Road Association... and the Dipstick was used in the construction of the world^s tallest building.

The Dipstick Floor Profiler measures F-Numbers (FF and FL) in accordance with ASTM E1115; Fmin; TR34, straightedge analyses; non-destructive measurement of the thickness of toppings, fills & coatings; joint profiles in accordance with ASTM E1155; joint movement under load; and it produces 3D topographic maps / analyses of floor surfaces. (see The Dipstick Floor Profiler video on YouTube)

In addition to measuring concrete floor tolerances, Dipstick is used on roads, pavements, bridge decks, runways, etc. (see The Dipstick Road Profiler video on YouTube)

Testing labs, building owners, developers, contractors, universities, research institutions and government agencies choose the Dipstick because it is the most accurate and most repeatable flatness/levelness measuring instrument on the market.
