Description:
With over 90,000 employees across 63 countries, Intel employees depended on staffed, on-site IT service centers for peripherals such as laptop batteries, headsets, flash drives, docking stations and cable adapters. Turning to VE Global Vending, together we developed an automated distribution process that reduced the total cost of technology ownership, reports employee satisfaction of over 95%, and reduced the number of order processing steps from 42 to 4. Intel documented a savings of 12,900 support and productivity hours per year which includes activities such as PC peripheral procurement, supervisor email purchase notifications along with automatic financial reconciliation, and machine email alerts that inform staff of machine diagnostics and possible out-of-stock situations.
