Scott Windley joined the Access Board in March of 1997. He previously worked for two years with The Center for Universal Design (previously Center for Accessible Housing) as a technical assistance specialist, providing technical assistance on accessible/universal housing and the Fair Housing Amendments Act and supervising students working with the Home Modification Clinic. Mr. Windley received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Idaho and subsequently served as an architecture and planning intern with the University's Facilities Planning and Design departments for two and a half years. He has given many presentations to students, advocates, and professionals on accessibility issues.
Currently at the Board Mr. Windley oversees staff work on the Board's public rights-of-way rulemaking, provides technical assistance and training on the ADAAG and other standards, and manages AutoCAD production.
