Description: Students with autism spectrum disorder have significant information processing deficits that impact functioning in many areas.  Recent research has shown how neurologically based processing problems lead to the types of social, communication, sensory, and behavior symptoms we see in this population.  During this webcast Dr. Nicole Beurkens will review the current research on processing in ASD in order to lay a foundation for understanding the types of strategies that are helpful to address these deficits.
