ALUMAT Magnetic Doors Seals for External Doors

The ALUMAT models for external doors are equipped with the patented magnetic double door rail. The two magnetic rails running parallel to each other provide double protection against anything penetrating from outside: rain, humidity, sand, vermin or draft air. Possible soiling or dust is removed by a silicone contact seal used in the weatherboard when closing the door; the magnets are cleaned at the same time. Rainwater is drained outside. The system provides excellent thermal insulation. The magnetic double door rail is certified according to DIN 18055 for a floor-to-floor height of up to 100 meters against driving rain and permeability of joints. The system is reliable in day-to-day use and maintenance-free for unlimited time. ALUMAT provides a 20-year warranty on the magnetic force.

For convenient and low-noise handling while opening the doors, the magnet counter profiles below the doors have additional insulating strips.
