Product Description
VoIP (or Voice over Internet Protocol) is a general term used to describe various transmission technologies, communication protocols, and methodologies that are used to provide voice communication over an internet connection rather than a POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) copper line.
DKS 1830 Series PC Programmable Telephone Entry and Access Control Systems (1833, 1834, 1835, 1837) can be fitted so the VoIP continues to provide the telephone service for two-way voice communication and, using an internet connection, can provide data transfer from the entry system to/from the programming PC.
Retrofit to existing DKS systems:
• Turnkey programming
• Thousands of names memory
• A network connection is necessary to use this means of transferring data to the controller and the programming PC. It could be a wired, fiber optic, or wireless connection.
