Lutron Sivoia QED Kirbé Vertical Motorized Drapery System

Product Description

Product Description

An industry first, the Kirbé vertical drapery system smoothly pulls fabric up and completely out of the way - unlike traditional draperies that move from side-to-side. This unique design provides greater access to windows and views by eliminating the creation of stack back.

Kirbé vertical drapery system utilizes a roller 100™ shade drive.

The standard Kirbé bracket includes provisions for mounting an optional Lutron roller shade, which can be integrated during installation or added at a later time. Depending on the width of the drapery, brackets can be selected that accept either a roller 64™ or a roller 100 shade drive.

The use of drapery is typically limited by stack back – the mass of fabric that gathers as traditional draperies are opened, equating to approximately one-third the total width of the drapery. The vertical uptake of the Kirbé system eliminates this issue, making it ideal for narrow windows or other areas that could not accommodate drapery in the past.

For floor-to-ceiling glass, the Kirbé can be recessed into the ceiling, leaving the top of the window unobstructed. It can provide a dramatic way to reveal the screen in a home theater and was designed to clear door hardware, allowing French and sliding doors to fully exploit their view. A decorative cornice from Lutron can also be used for a stylized finish with no need for a recessed pocket.

The IR Remote can be used to program and control shades/drapes in the system via a drive unit with an IR receiver, an IR Keypad or via the IR reciever in the Contact Closure Interface.

Optional infrared system provides easy, convenient control from anywhere in the room.

Sivoia QED EDUs can be controlled directly from the HomeWorks 4 or 8 series processor using the HWI-Q96 SOLosTM integrator.

• Control up to 96 EDUs.

• Each EDU counts as a zone on the HomeWorks processor.

• QED keypads may be used but count against the 96 device limit. QED keypads cannot be programmed using the HomeWorks processor.
