NewVision™ Curb Ramp Inventory System (NVCRIS)

Cut the time, expense, and frustration out of completing a manual inventory of your city's curb ramps, signals, and crosswalks with NVCRIS.

The NewVision Curb Inventory System (NVCRIS) is a complete field inventory, analysis and facilities management system which runs on an iPad®. CRIS assists the user in collecting data which meets the 2010 American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards and PROWAG specifications for accessibility and safety.
NVCRIS has been designed to save the project manager valuable time and reduce problematic situations while monitoring field survey workers and the data collection process. 
The Curb Ramp Inventory has many capabilities that will take the user beyond the initial data collection process. City employees can use CRIS to assist in: 

• analyzing data

• prioritizing asset improvements

• preparing ADA action plans

• planning future public works projects

• maintaining a current database of curb ramps, signals and crosswalks

​Do It Yourself:  App Store Download Option 

• Install the 3 NVCRIS Modules from the App Store to an iPad for FREE.

• Take a FREE 25 ramp Test Drive of the software, Retrieve all data and photos for these ramps in the format of your choice. At this point, you will have a good understanding of how NVCRIS functions.

• Do a complete Preliminary Survey for FREE to determine how many ramps need to be surveyed and compute total cost.

• Continue to survey remaining ramps with the data being uploaded to the NVCRIS server.

• Pay $1.50 per ramp to retrieve the data (excluding the data you received on your Free Test Drive).

• iPad Calibration Boards are available for purchase.

Hassle Free iPad Rental Option

• Rent iPads from GSSi as a Turnkey System at $30 per iPad per day. (Minimum rental is 7 days prepaid for each iPad).

• iPad Calibration Board Rental and Cellular Service is optional.

• iPads are configured to your city's specifications.

• All software, iPad and accessories, training videos, data storage, support services and shipping are included in the daily rental fee.

• Inventory as many ramps as you desire during the rental period.

• Includes unlimited data and photos.

• Retrieve all data and photos from the NVCRIS server in the format of your choice.

• Return the iPad(s) when inventory is complete.
