Product Description
The Lightpad Dimmer is a WiFi-enabled light switch and dimmer that lets users easily control all the lights in their home from a single switch. The touch panel interface allows users to control the dimmer with gestures that are similar to those used to operate a touchscreen smartphone or tablet. A simple touch turns the light on or off, and a swipe up or down controls the dimmer. By sliding two fingers up or down, users can control multiple lights in the same room. A pinching gesture allows users to easily turn on or off all the lights in the house from one switch. A sensor in the dimmer will detect someone approaching and automatically illuminate the touch panel, making the switch easy to find in the dark.
Since the Ube Smart Dimmer has WiFi connectivity, the switch can also be controlled using a smartphone or tablet. The lights can be set to automatically turn on when residents arrive home, using a smartphone's GPS location. The Ube smartphone app allows users to create customized lighting scenes for different moods and activities. The app keeps track of how much electricity each light is using, and sends users a message when a light bulb burns out. The app also lets users control many other IP connected devices that are already on the market, so that users can control all areas of their smart home without having to move from one app to another. The touch panel on the dimmer switch can also be programed to learn new gestures, giving it the capability to control other IP connected devices in the home in addition to the lights.
