Product Description
The MultipliCITY backless bench shares the same form language as the backed bench and like it is solid and grounded, interactive and user-focused. The cast aluminum bench with wood seat is offered in straight and mitered versions that enable virtually limitless configurations. The backless bench is wider than the backed version, allowing people to sit back-to-back as well as forward to increase social activity in a space. The bench is a perfect companion to the MultipliCITY table under which it efficiently slides. As in the backed bench, long seat boards are supported on the underside by steel straps to ensure stability and enable flat shipping.
- Benches available backed or backless
- The bench supports come in prefinished anodized cast aluminum or powder coat finish, and support wood seating surfaces
- Mitred benches available backed/backless in right, left, parallel and wedge units
- Standard angle for mitred benches is 22.5 °
- Most benches are available with freestanding, surface mount, or embedded supports
- Supports offer a "hidden" mounting system
- Available in all standard exterior woods , except Redwood
- Two backless benches are paired with the table to create a picnic style arrangement
- The backed bench is available with or without arms and has a tablet option
- The backed bench also has an offset backrest option to allow the optional tablet to overhang the end of the seating surface to create a workspace
- Offset backrest bench must be surface mounted or embedded
- MultipliCITY is available fully assembled or in flat pack shipping and local assembly for domestic and International markets
- Bench meets ANSI/BIFMA performance and safety standards
