Series Overview
Model WPTS Picnic Tables are accessible to wheelchairs at both ends. These tables have a square frame which provides the look of a pedestal table but are portable for site flexibility.
Model WPTS Tables utilize a patented innovative design evolution of our popular APT Series double pedestal tables. The tables are accessible to wheelchairs at both ends. Full length seats offer full capacity seating which is an advantage over extended top or side access tables.
Model WPTS 8 ft table offers clearances under the table top of 30" wide, 27" high, and 24" total knee and toe clearance (19" knee + 5" toe). Nominal seat height is 18". The 8 ft. tables are ADA COMPLIANT.
Specifications:
FRAME: All welded 3" x 6" (nom.) x 1/8" wall rectangular steel tube for top and seat supports, connected with 2-1/2" (nom.) x 1/8" wall square steel tube. Frames are welded into a single piece for strength and easy assembly. All 3/8” dia. galvanized carriage bolt fasteners.
FINISH: Standard finish: hot dip galvanized after fabrication. Or choose a powder coat finish (in place of galvanized finish) in the color of your choice.
LENGTH: 6 or 8 ft. long. Note: the 8 ft. table is compliant with ADA guidelines for knee and toe clearances. The 6 ft. table is slightly short of the total knee+toe clearance required to be called "compliant".
TOP/SEAT MATERIAL: 2" x 4" formed steel channels assembled into seat planks and top thermo-plastic coated in your choice of color. See Material Options.
